Could you recommend me any books? :)?

Any books that have had a great impact on your life, changed your way of thinking? Or any that have touched you're soul, or you thought were beautiful? Any that made you cry like you've never cried before, or laughed so hard it made you cry? Any books at all that you thought were amazing in general? Please let me know, I'll do my best to read all recommendations. If it helps, I just read Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger and On the Road by Jack Kerouac and thought they were amazing :) Thanks everyone!

Have you read any books by Jodi Picoult? She has around 25 published novels; all of their settings and plots are quite different, but I really enjoy reading them. They touch on subjects such as dealing with the loss of a loved one, or battling emotional issues, and they also teach moral values. Hope I helped. :]

One of my all time favorite books is 'Shantaram' by Gregory David Roberts, in this one book I have cried like never before and at other times laughed out loud! This was such a good book I've read it three times! Also I've heard that there is a movie of it coming out and Johnny Depp will be playing the lead role. So read it before you see the movie :)

'The Alchemist' by Paulo Coelho- a truly touching philosophical story set as a sort of fable. very very good

The tales of the otori series by Lian Hearn- a kind of fantasy world based on japanese culture. so good!

'The kite runner' by khaled hosseini, a extremely touching story based in afghanistan, boy did this book make me cry and cry.

'To kill a mockingbird' by harper lee, just a classic

'Princess' by jean p. sasson- a true story of an arabian women's life in saudi arabia, definitely should read.

'Memoirs of a geisha' by arthur golden, love love this book

'Life of Pi'- Yann martel, a very enjoyable read.

Oh I could go on and on! :D I love my books!

oh yeah currently reading 'the power of one' by bryce courtenay, i'm almost finished, this is also a very good book.

    Happy reading!

"Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close" by Jonathan Safran Foer is an excellent read. If you want comedy, I suggest Jasper Fforde or Douglass Adams. Anything written by Asimov is a guaranteed good read.(Look up his short story "The last Question")
