Element TV Durability?

Ive been looking for a TV (flat panel) and so far the best size for the best price ive found is an element 26 inch. Does anyone know the life-span on these and if the internals are good quality?

My suggestion are good rules to go by. If a brand has invested in technology through the years developing a reputation for product, then they have a name to defend or protect. Brand names like Sony, Toshiba, LG, Panasonic are proven. It doesn't mean they are all good at every price point, but what it does mean is that their bread and butter product along with their name will be on life support, if the tv does not live up to expectation out here.

Element and Dynex are not vested. They are not in the same orbit as the previous brands. Reason being, their track record is short and their resume is thin. Therefore, know-one has any idea what they get for the money, because we cannot look into the matter. The only way I would get an Element is if it was given as a gift. Sceptre has decent screens, they do not have a reputation for junk. The one company you may want to look into is Vizeo. Vizeo has a vested interest and a long track record and a resume phonebook thick. If you watch NFL football you are looking through the lens of Vizeo. Vizeo would be better quality than Element. Vizeo has a name to defend and a reputation to honor in consumer electronics.

Best.
