How many channels can you get with HDTV and HD antenna only in NYC ? without cable or box converter .?

I am only getting like 8 channels , idk if my antenna is HD . but wondering how many you can get for free with no cable . only indoor antenna

Well, how many stations do you WANT to get? The investment into a professionally installed aerial might make it worth your while....

I am only getting like 5 channels
