Belly Button Scar is Oozing after Galbladder removed?

I had my Galbladder removed last friday (now 8 days ago) and all of my scars seem to be healing quite well apart from my belly button scar. It is slightly red and oozing puss from it. I am worried because I am not the thinnest of people and my belly roll i think is making it worse because it cant heal properly.

I have bee to the doctors once and they just gave me something to cover it up with and said its ok, But that was 4 days ago and still the same. i have also bought the C-X Powder that I have been putting on from today so shal see how that goes. Anyone help? Thanks

Keep it clean, wash it with soap and water at least twice a day and put triple antibiotic ointment on it. Keep it covered with a bandaid. If that doesn't help within a few days, I would go back to the doctor.
It definitely sounds like an infection. Watch to see if the redness spreads, if it does, see the doctor ASAP.
