Like when you cough or sneeze, do they stay and fly in the air or do the all just fall on the ground? Or are there germs that just sit in the air?

Germs are usually transferred through moisture and since there is moisture almost everywhere in the air, they just float around

There are germs in the air, but not because they fly but because their mass is so small so gravity doesn't attract them down.
