My motor scooter wont stay running?

Question

i just got a cheap 49cc chinese made scooter, the brand is big chief and all reviews are bad on them, anyways, i can only get mine started by spraying starter fluid into the intake, then it only runs for a few seconds.... it just wants to bog down and die, what should i do, rebuild the carb??? i dont know why it runs fine when i spray it tho, maybe its not getting gas idk..please help

ummm i didnt pay a dollar for this scooter....i know its crap, didnt u already read that, im lookin for answers not ur opinions

You bought a cheap 49cc Chinese scooter that got bad reviews that doesn't even run? You didn't see this coming? Push it back where you got it as quickly as possible. It's a rolling chinese money pit. Stop filling it NOW.

Failing nthat, it isn't getting fuel to the combustion chamber. Start at the tank and work down from there.
