How can i report an ipod stolen stolen?

my ipod touch got stolen and i want to report it i know 100% who had it last and i know it was that person, my mom didn't pay all at once when she got it shes paying 20$ per month till shes completed the 200$ and so i didn't even have my ipod for a month and it was stolen already. yeah my mom is really mad and so i want to report it so i can get the money and give it to my mom and not have an ipod anymore. as much as i loved that ipod i dint deserve it so i just wanna give my mom every penny they give me to her.

you could report it stolen to the police, the store doesnt care who has it as long as its paid for so your best chance is to just get it back
