PS3!!! for one thing, if your into online gaming, the online gaming is free and on xbox you have to pay for a membership. another thing is the xbox is know for 'The Red Ring Of Death' which means you its jacked up and you will have to get it fixed while the PS3 is not known to mess up as much. The controllers is another thing, the PS3 controllers fit well in your hands while the 360 controllers are freakn huge. the PS3 plays blu-ray movies and i dont think the xbox does. i have a ps3 and an xbox 360 and i ended up selling the 360 cause i didnt care for it all that much. but the ps3 is bad assbe smart...buy the ps3.

Xbox has more vertasility and plays more games which are considered more fun. Also the only complaint I have ever heard about it is the red ring of death. Therefore, I would prefer that.

If I was arguing for PS3 I would say I would get it for it's features, including but not limited to Blu-Ray Movie player, Extremely good graphics, and from a company with good credentials.

ps3 because the xbox is old and outdated and the ps3 has lots of good games

but if you really mean the xbox 360 (the newer version) then i would have to say the xbox

360 because i got one for free, and you can't beat that. although i must admit i think the ps3 is a better system with a built in hard drive, blue-ray player, and better graphics. plus the 360 has a history of issues like the red-rings of death, and the error when the magnet to spin the disk comes off (i had to go through a whole online tutorial on youtube to fix that one on my 360.) i haven't heard of any issues with the ps3 other than its enormous price tag. but i will admit that i like xbox games better than playstation games, they have better exclusive titles.
so overall i'd say the ps3 is a better system, but in my opinion xbox has better exclusive games.

PS3. A couple of my favourite series are going to be releasing/have released games on that platform.
