Corn syrup and red food coloring

Ketchup (tho I know the consistancy is alittle off)

Maybe Using water and Food dye.

Red hair dye really looks like blood, (The best kind is Stellar rockout red) BUT this will stain EVERYTHING it comes into contact with.

can't think of anymore at the moment.
