How can I advertise my site?.?

Hi, i have an online business and need ways to advertise it. Currently I am only depending on google advertising paying 500/month. I do know there are free ways as in twitter/facebook/etc. but that takes alot of time. Is there any reputable company out there that is willing to take a premium to maximize exposure of your site and has a good track record of that?

For gaining traffic to your site, you will be looking at some time being spent.

Few methods I use:

1. Leave comments on blogs/site in some high PR site.
2. Tell your friends about your web site and specific posts by email or simply put tell a friend scripts on your web site and let it spread the word of mouth. You can try one from SocialTwist.
3. Put your site URL in your forum signatures and be active poster.
4. Submit your site into High PR Directory Submission
5. Submit your Article to Social Bookmarking site.

Try to find dofollow websites to add your link. A good start is www.dofollowportal.com or you can google for dofollow directories or dofollow blogs.
