Where can I find a sewing basket?

I have just started taking sewing lessons and I need a sewing basket to hold all of my things. Does anyone know where I can find a cute one that is not too expensive? Maybe under $40.

I prefer a tackle box -- sturdier, cheaper, easier to store, and better suited to many of the items used in machine sewing.

If you want a real sewing basket, though, most fabric stores have a few.

Any sewing shop would carry those....or you could look on eBay or any local Internet advertising site in your area.

Check with stores that carry fabrics, such as Jo Ann (not sure of spelling) Fabrics, Hancock, and Wal-Mart. Also, Hobby Lobby and Michael's might carry them also. A good online store that carries a lot of household items is Lillian Vernon. I'm sure they have a website.

I just checked online for you, and at www.amazon.com there are a lot of sewing baskets - really cute ones and well under $40. Check it out.

Walmart has them or any fabric store, or for a cheap option you can buy a tackle box.
