Did i get my period.. or not...?

Question

i thought i got it for the first time in july, and i never got it since. but now i am starting to think maybe it wasnt blood and maybe it was just brown discharge... my mom said it was my period but then again it was very light only lasted about 3 days and i havent got any thing else since. what do you think?

This was your period. The first period is very "brown" colored because the blood is old. The blood will not always be bright, fire engine red.

Most young girls who get their periods for the first time don't see it for awhile. It could be several months. You are no where NEAR regular yet so don't expect it to show up every month. Also, expect the first and others following to be very, very light.

No worries. You are normal and it WAS your period. :) Congrats on womanhood.

yes it was! the only thing is when you first start you r usually irregular so thats why you havent had one since. just be prepared cuz i am sure it will come soon! how old r u btw?

i had my first period last october and didn't have one since then, after a while i got really concerned and a bit scared, so i went to the doctors and they said that it can happen to most people after their first period and your body just needed to settle into a reglar pattern- after about six months i had my second-and they have been regular ever since. Dont worry, hope you get better.

yes you did. when you first get your period you are just irregular. it happens to everyone. :]
