This is the problem with over generalization and over simplification.
For starters, no one is 100% liberal or conservative. I don't believe there are many people left who even know what those terms mean anymore. Both terms have been corrupted beyond recognition and few people, if any, think of their dictionary definitions when they use them.
I'm an agnostic, but I've read enough of the New Testament to get a strong impression that Jesus advocated generosity, kindness, tolerance and peace, which fit the dictionary definition of liberal traits. Being a liberal, either in the original or corrupted sense doesn't necessarily require a disbelief in God or some other Creator.
Nowhere does the dictionary definition, nor my own liberal philosophy include a belief in Government, and I would argue that the dictionary definitions would indicate a generally greater acceptance of government authority among conservatives than among liberals.
Whether or not a particular "liberal" or "conservative" accepts the authority of a particular administration usually depends on which party is in power.
Of course the real All Power on this planet at this time would be the richest 1% of the human population who own and control everyone and everything, and are killing the planet itself for their own profit. We are all forced to practice that religion if you want to call it that.
