Old House Has A TILT How To Fix?

I just bought a house. It is redone except for the floor. The house is over 200 years old and has settled like a cone...everything is slanted toward the center of the house.
The question is. Can this be fixed and afforadable. Can I just lay supfloor over it and make it level somehow. And how to reinforce everything? What is the best way to go about fixing this issue. Thanks

There are companies that specialize in foundation leveling. They should be able to jack the center of the house and extend the piers to level the floor.

You may get some cracks in the walls or other problems so be careful.

NOTE: With all due respect, Number 6 needs to reread the question. The house slopes to the center so you would not jack the perimeter.

foundation or beam problems. should be done from underneath the house and jacked up ... call a pro... if you just add subfloor, you are adding more weight and more tilting may happen.

Wait a minute. "jacking up" the entire perimeter of the building to raise the foundation walls is an easy $20,000. You COULD furr out the floors to raise the low side but, this will undoubtedly mess with the transitions at the doorways. Is the house possibly slanted up toward a center chimney that didn't settle at the same rate that the foundation did? I've been working on a way to fix that. Email me for some ideas if this is the case.
