How can you tell if a guy likes you?

im in school. his friends used to mess around with me alot! now they are super nice and really cool. i really like him. but i dont know, if he likes me. he teases me some, but immediately says sorry if it offends me. haha he said he loves me because of something i forget. but it was cute and funny. hes very funny and athletic. he always seems to catch my eye weather its in the hall ways or in class. i just want to know if he likes me. and how do you tell if they are going to ask you out?
his friends are nice and they all talk to me now.

I think he likes you very much, and there is no way to see if he is going to ask you out because every guy does it on an other way.

It sounds like he definitely likes you by the way you explained it! His friends might be acting extra nice and talk to you now because he told them that he likes you. Not to be mean.. but another explaination could be that he thinks he's just gonna hook up with you and he told his friends that, and they are all trying to get with you now too. I'm not saying that's true.. but i've had it happen before so i just want to let you have a different way of looking at it. good luck it sounds like you really like him! :]
