Additional Details

I mean People like Michael Jackson and Britney Spears are always expessing loneliness in their songs.
And That Talented basketball player ( main character Lucas) From One tree Hill is also a Loner.
Plus many other extremely good looking models and talented people, I've noticed.
Like Marilyn Monroe, and that Russian model Ruslana Korshunova who commited suicide.

people with talent are generally loners,

they have to be, to have most talents requires a deep sense of introspective thought, and thus thinking before they speak and becoming accustomed to under currents...

The talented genius may wish he was not the loner, however I would assume the talented who follows their talent through, generally live comparatively more significant lives in terms of experiences, influence on the rest of the world etc...

I personally think that in high school, the very talented and nerdy people are the loners, although you can be smart and popular too. You have to have the right look and the right friends for that. However, it's later on, past school and into the jobs that the 'loners' in high schools will be the ones meeting all the famous, smart people, while the stoners, and the popular blonde girls will be the ones staying in their hometowns working at McDonald's.

Depends on the talent, e.g people who are talented guitarists/singers are usually quite popular, where as talented magic trick people are usually loners. I think it usually does depend on the person underneath.. personality etc, but no to be honest i wouldn't make a generalization between loners and talented people. Hope this helped :)

Loners are quiet but observative. They differ from the rest, that is, that they are more aware of their surroundings. This is why mant talents consist of loners. They have even greater motivation/ sometimes desperation, to "beat" the loneliness out of them, and be cool, and sociable just like their friends in high school.

No one likes to be lonely and i guess loners, mostly, have a stronger emotional side to them rather than the social side.Just that they don't show it. This means that they think more emotionally and not so logically(in a good way). So that's my opinion and view on this qn. :D

I think that loner people would be interesting in doing something extra to fill the space caused by their lonely, that makes most of them talented.
also if someone finds himself talented in something he would be interesting in doing things he love rather that communicating with people that don't think as he does.

I am not a loner. I am married for 35 years and having a happy retired life.
