What is it like at a boarding school?

i might be moving to a boarding school for year 9 next year and i was wondering what is is like, i'm a bit nervous at being away from home for so long, is it easy to make friends? is it scary? thanks a lot

Hmmm i live in Malaysia, and i guess it depends on some of factors.

1) gender. girls usually get along pretty well, make more friends, whereas guys, (unfortunately) will kinda treat your rough , depending on ...

2) your attitude towards others. are you a Maths genius? a star football player? are you quiet or outgoing? everyone has a certain 'aura' or 'vibe', which, if people don't like, they will give you a rough time.

Overall, i guess it's still okay though. Remember, you DO have to do work, i.e wash toilets LOL. But as long as you know how to take care of yourself, there's nothing to worry about ;)
