How do i move memory from one memory card to another?

okay so i have a 1 gb memory card for my psp and 2 gb memory card for my phone, they are differant sizes and i want to know how i can move memory into the 1 gb card (in other words expand the memory of the 1gb) my friend has done it, but moved away befor i ever cared, but now i need to know how......please help!

A memory card has a fixed size. There's no way to add memory to one. You can, however, clean out stuff you don't need on the card, freeing up some of the memory it does have.

put everything on the 1 gig card and the 2 gig card on to your computer. then get rid of everything on the cards. then switch what was on what card.
