Have you heard that in 2010 handmade children items will become illegal?

i cannot believe this. i was planning on selling handmade SAFE children toys and clothes with my sister so she could stay at home with her baby. . I understand protecting kids from Made in China sh!t, but good god, can you image how many people this is going to effect? if you have some information that could clear the issue up for me, that would be great. ive heard that, its only ok to sell those items if it has been tested, and that Mattel (the ones who recall toys..) dont have to get tested lol efing christ. i think i will never buy one of their toys, ever. ill make my own god damn toys, and be an outlaw.

If you do a web search you find your answer. What seems to be up, is that the consumer safety people want all toys tested for safety and of course this will make it nearly impossible for the small carfter to make, test and sell their toys.

If I make toys, I will only market them for adult use. I'll put on a sticker that advises that the toy is intended for those 18 years of age or older.
