Collecting on a lien that is against a now bank owned property..?

I won a judgment in California and placed a lien on their property in order to try and collect because all other efforts failed. The property went back to the bank and was sold at auction, can anyone tell me if I will still get paid or who I can contact to find out the answer to this question? No matter where I look I can't seem to find the answer. Thanks in advance for any helpful advice you can give me.

Unless your lien was for back child support it is now void. The risk you took.

If it is for back child support the lien will follow dead beat dad out of there, but you won't get anything from the sell unless it auctions for more then the mortgage.
