Hello,

It might be rosacea; you don't have to be a specific age to get it. However, it seems that since you live in Florida, the mixture of heat and humidity is getting to your skin, since it is probably sensitive. People can get these kind of reactions from humidity, dryness, heat or cold. Try to stay inside as much as you can in the air conditioning, and keep a pack of moisturizing and cleansing facial wipes in your backpack at school. On the other hand, it might just be a side of your medication. Ask your dermalogist what the side effects are, and see if you can work something out or try another medicine that won't irritate your skin.

Blushing has absolutely nothing to do with it. It might just seem like that, because your face is already red when you blush. Go to your dermatologist as soon as you can, though, so he can see whether or not it is rosacea or a side effect of your medicine.

Hope this helps,

Rose

It could be the heat, or it could be rosacia or a more serious condition. I would talk to a doctor just to be on the safe side, because there are certain autoimmune diseases that can cause redness of the face. It probably is a combination of the heat and medication, but it certainly never hurts to be on the safe side.
