What's the best foundation for oily skin?

Question

I have very oily skin, I also tend to break out some times, what would be the best foundation to hide oil and acne? Also, I might have rosacea but I'm not sure. All I know is that: my skin is oily, pretty red, and I have a little acne. What would be the best foundation for me?

Always look for foundation that is hypoallergenic if you have sensitive skin.

If you think you have rosacea you should go to a dermatologist. They can prescribe you a prescription for rosacea called oracea. I also have rosacea and that's what I take. Here is some info on it:

Bare Escentuals makes great mineral foundation..its not oily either. Also, if you buy from Bare Escentuals get the "Well Rested" as well...its a great concealer. Its all minerals but it covers VERY well! If you need extreme coverage for problem areas go to dillards and look for Dermablend.

Try Revlon Foundation for Oily Skin. You might also want to get a Primer for oily skin. Put that on before you put on foundation. I usually get the brand Smashbox for Oily Skin and it's sold in Sephora and Ebay (I'm sure there's other places) It REALLY works. I thought it wouldn't. I used this in the summertime when it was really humid, so believe me it does work.

I don't think bare minerals is a good choice for you since you have oily skin. I have combination skin (an oily T-zone) and i used to use bare minerals, and by the end of the day it was all gone. Now I use MAC's Studio Fix Powder foundation. It was silica in it which helps you stay matte (shine-free). It stays on all day which is great! Also, with the Studio Fix Powder, you can build from light to medium to full coverage on your face.

My skin gets somewhat oily, I have pretty red cheeks (it's kind of like a built in blush) and I get acne sometimes and I went to Clinique today and I am really happy with what I got. I got their Perfectly Real Make-up which is a liquid with moisturizer and they also recommended this redness stuff that cures the coloring in your cheeks. I don't know how to explain it but you should go to your local mall and check out the counter!

Umm....i would use bare esencials. its is completely organic so it doesnt harm your skin. also it stays on all day

My vote goes to Clinique pore minimizer make up,it's water based and it's a little bit more expensive but it's worth every penny and last a very long time.
