What is it called when you use lots of commas in a sentence?I know Edgar Allen Poe used a lot of them but theres a name for that kind of style of writting and I dont know what it is.
Also, what kind of literary device would you say this is: "I was in a numbed daze, living in an aquarium where everything was murky, underwater, in slow motion". (Gregory Galloway). <---I know its not a similie or metaphor...I think.Does anyone know what this is an example of?
-your help would be much appreciated!
