Although, some say that Courtney Love killed him. This isn't true.

No one can really answer that question; we don't know for 100%. Although Kurt's death was ruled as suicide by the police, there are certain facts which make it seem unlikely. Then there are other facts which make it seem like a suicide. It depends on which angle you look at it from.
Perhaps we'll never know.

His death was ruled as a suicide from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head, and he was apparently high on heroin. There are people who speculate that he could not have held the gun at that angle, suggesting he was murdered. Also that the suicide note wasn't written entirely by him, or wasn't intended as a suicide note. But unless the case is re-opened and further investigated, the official word is that it's a suicide.
