What do they call a phone in England? 10 points?

Ok so in England they call a tv a telly, what do they say for a phone ???? And websites are welcome :) ps. 10 points and a thums up

The old dog & bone is what my grandad called it. As far as I know phone is short for telephone. In England it used to be called the telephone. Over the years people got lazy & started calling it a phone. As in phone line, phone point, phone box etc.

we call it a phone if its a house phone if its a portable phone we call it a mobile

Some folks in the UK refer to the telephone as the 'Blower'..or..'Dog and Bone'.. 'Twisted pair'....'Tele'..
