Which Glucose meter uses the cheapest strips?

Can someone tell me which of the glucose meters are cost effective in terms of strip? I don't mind paying more for the meter if I can save a little on the strip which in the long run adds up.

At 40$ per 100 strips, walmart's reli-on brand test strips are the cheapest you can buy. the meters are about 10$.

If you opt for more expensive strips and are uninsured, try applying for patient assistance programs- your manufacturer may have one.
