Starting out a Computer repair business out of my home:)?

Starting a computer repair business out of my home where i will make house calls from & will eventually rent out a bigger place as my business expands for customers to come to me.

I have some basic tools & software, A+ knowledge, transportation.
My pan is to make flyers, business cards and eventually a website.

My question is what else do I need for my business to succeed, what more tools & software do I need, How to attract or find potential customers, what else do I need to know about the computer tech/repair business to grow or start out & finally what else do I need to keep customers besides good prices and great customer service??

Thanks for your time

It seems you have started with the good basic ideas for what you need to do with a computer business. Something else I might suggest would be to see if there are any newspapers around that you could post your ads in to attract more customers to. Also another thing I have found is with flyers and ads is to vary their colors and more people will be attracted to them which could help bring in more customers.

Something else you might want to consider is to call the other computer shops just to get a estimate on how much their services would cost so you can put a affordable mark for your services.

    Hi Arturo,
Another idea is to market to small businesses as they usually do not have a dedicated IT person on staff and the last thing they need is to have a computer go down and not have someone to call. Since it is just you starting out, you can invest in a good Remote Desktop control software program where you can work on someone's computer from your location. Sell the fact that it is a faster response for them and you can also sell them an inexpensive monthly maintenance program so you can do upgrades and virus/malware scans. Make the initial contact face to face so that they know you are a real person that can be trusted. Small businesses can be very protective of their operational information.
    To your success!
