Question about Nuva Ring?

I took out my Nuva Ring on Nov 28th and my Nuva Ring timer on my desktop said I should have put in the new one today, Nov 3. Thats 6 days. I thought I was suppose to put it in tomorrow. Which is a full week. Why did it tell me today. Either way, I put it in 9 hours late because I didn't see this notice. Why did it tell me to put it in 6 days later, and will I be protected still?

Yes, you're still protected, but if you want to be extra-cautious, use condoms for the next 7 days. You probably just mistimed it slightly.
