Who else gets the feeling there is good cop bad cop scam being perpetrated on americans voters?

I wont explain...lets see if you are thinking what I am thinking.

hint.....both cops really want the same thing....while one pretends to be our friend while the other plays the jerk. Just when you are getting tired of the antics of one, the other comes saying he is here to rescue you, but never really rescues you...drags his feet, then here comes the jerk again.

Additional Details

the good cop never delivers on his promise of protection and always makes sure he leaves an opening for the bad cop to pounce on you again and have his way with you for a while...once more.

its not so much good cop bad cop, its just that in order to get people to choose one thing you must fashion their choices so that no matter what choice they make they are making the choice you want them to make.
I use this technique when working with my elderly patients with dementia. If you ask a person with dementia what they want to drink, they will either look at you like you are an idiot or they will say something like "booze" or milk shake. If you ask them if they want apple juice or orange juice, you are giving them a choice but its the choices that you want them to make. Same thing works with children and i am making the correlation that most people in the country have the mentality of a 7 year old and/or an 85 year old with dementia.

yeah that is about it, but with criminal gangs instead of cops, though cops can be thought of as a gang in blue with all the bad eggs among them.
