What do you consider to be affordable health care?

Yes this is through my employer. I can't imagine what this would cost me on my own.

Additional Details

...or affordable health insurance? I pay $74 per month to insure myself and two sons. I have a $300 per person per year deductible and a $2300 maximum out of pocket expense per year. An RX plan is included along with dental coverage. I feel that I have some pretty good coverage with this, far better than anything the government can come up with.

...I do feel that there should be something better for a lot of people out there, but is the government the answer for that? If it were up to me you all could have all the free health care you need, but it's not.

I prefer to save my own money and pay in cash for medical service.

Right on. I would rather save my money for other things but if that's what you want to do then more power to ya.

Your is low compared to what many others pay, including me, and I'm still against the HR.

Over 50% of Americans work for what are considered small businesses. We have a family business and privately insure our family of 4, which has had no injuries, serious illnesses, or diseases in the 10 years we've had the policy. It is an 80/20 with a $2500 deductible. We pay $22,000 a year. We will drop the oldest in January to keep the kids insured. The oldest is a 63 year old veteran. I'm a Democrat from Louisiana and my representative is Mary Landrieu, who can burn in hell after her nonsensical Wall Street Journal message in support of small business. Thanks, Mary. Could you remove the knife from my back please?
