Do you need to take physics in college?

i know that i need to take calculus, and i'm pretty much done with it by the time i graduate, but do you need to take any physics in college. if you do , how much? is it a good idea to not take it in high school and just wait to take it in college??

In college you will most likely have to take a science as a general education course depending on your major and what type of degree you are going for. But because u have to take a science as a gen. ed. doesn't mean you have to take physics, you can choose between what courses your school offers.
