Is this Iambic Pentameter? PLEASE FULLY CHECK!?

The night is dark; has mysterious ways.
It begins by extinguishing the light.
Walking blindly, into a cloud of haze,
trying to find the wrong in all the right.
Friendship is like the night: blind, dark, unclear.
Trust must be given with no guarantee.
Walking into one, uncertain with fear –
hoping it will be the best it can be.
But as the night changes, so does a friend!
And in that twisted face, showing no trace –
of cordiality, kindness, no send.
Thus the fragrant ribbon now rotten lace,
ties two friends, now enemies in shape.
Friendship deceased – no comfort, no escape.

Please anyone other than the first "answer". Whoever that was obviously doesn't understand that iambic pentameter is 10 syllables u/u/u/u/u/ (stressed/unstressed).
I just need help making sure I did the stressed/unstressed part right.

No way. There should be 5 stressed syllables per line, and those should fall on every-other syllable:

Once' up on' a mid' night drear' y...
While' I pon' dered weak' and wear' y,..."
