CA tenant law Q; Does a renter need a renters licence (5 tenants)?

In CA does a renter need to have a license, if so what rights do the tenants have?

No state requires a tenant to have any kind of license. Maybe they should, then they would actually learn the laws. Then they would not think they have rights that they don't.

there is no such thing. There could not be any such thing. A landlord
needs no such thing; there is no such thing to have.
