Need to tone up after exams!?

So I had my final exams. And I put on a bit of weight. I knew this would happen, and I wasnt putting in effort to stop it. I decided if I was craving an iced cafe latte and a bagel at 10pm when studying at the library, I was going to go out and get one. And I swear the gorging during this difficult period helped me more than denying myself.
So now Im up to my last exam and now I want to start losing the weight.
What advice can you give to make this easier? And healthier? Im going on a beach holiday in December so I want to look appealing in my swimming costume!

    Try to start running. I swear, this is the best thing for you. At first it's going to be hard but in the end very rewarding. As for eating, try to stick to thinks that are healthy. You know what to eat and not to eat. Drink TONS of water. Another thing you could try is biking. Always fun. All you need is a bike and an ipod.. good luck!
