You are going to have trouble identifying leaves online.
You need to know the kind of plant to find the leaf. However, if you get a book from the library that features plants in your area, you are likely to find the plant and leaf identification.
If you are dead set on internet then I suggest http://hort.ifas.ufl.edu/woody/factsheets.shtml Professor Gilman has written many factsheets with drawings of plant form and leaves.
If you don't live on the east coast I suggest contacting the local cooperative extension office * http://www.csrees.usda.gov/Extension/ * for help. They can either give you the state university site that would have that information or oftentimes the agents are horticulture experts who can help you personally.
Best of luck
