What would be a good "Moog synthesizer" be to get...?

Because im wanting one but dont know where to start

This is a question that has brought on plenty of debate. Some might argue that an original modular system is the "best" but unless you have an entire room to spare and lots of cash, it's impractical.

On a more serious note, the most sought after is generally the Minimoog, whether it's the original Model D from the 70's or its modern counterpart, the Voyager. Both are excellent (though quite different from each other) but are also rather pricey.

One of their most basic models is the Rogue, which was my first synthesizer, and is still my favorite one. The options may seem limited, but with some creativity, you can still achieve some amazing sounds. A step up from that is the Prodigy. A modern equivalent would probably be the Little Phatty.
