I am working on a project for my education class, and need to find sources for information regarding behavioral intervention in relation to communication disorders.

People with communication disablities, usually appear very shy, not very friendly, sometimes aggervise, some people mistake them for being mentally challanged but they're not!

if you mean the behavior associated with the inability to communicate---

prompt child to give some level of communication --ranging from a getsure to a full sentence--don't give in to inappropriate behaviors just to calm teh child
