Life in Saudi Arabia?

I am a girl in 10th grade living in the U.S, but my family may be moving to saudi arabia in a year. I was wondering if anyone living in saudi arabia can tell me what life there is like for a female teenager. I also want to attend medical school after two years and I want to know if there are any good medical schools in saudi arabia that females can go to. If you can help me with either one of these questions, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you for your help! 10 points best answer!

here, life is completely different then how it is in the states, you will apply yourself in a different lifestyle which's all the time hard in the beginning. we do have in Riyadh a Branch of loma linda university which is an American medical school. but put in mind that Riyadh is the capital and a city of 7 million as a population (too crowded in the rush hours ), i don't know if you gonna like this. the weather is bloody hot, not like the Nevada or Arazona hotness, it's a kinda hot that you might have never experienced but air condition are doing the job. girls here are a big fan of Shopping, they spend a lot of money on these expensive brands. i found girls teen lifestyle here is fun for them but it's just gonna seem a lil different for you.

best of luck

I have answered you in your other question.
Here you will mostly be busy with your last 2 years of schooling and you will be able to make friends and do activities with them. Good friends are important here otherwise you will be lonely. Well other females would answer you better abt the life of a girl here. :)

well it depends in which city will you be moving to, I can tell you right now Jeddah is the best place over there, it is the most liberated city in the country, a lot of things to do and places to go and because the country is booming economic wise, shopping malls are everywhere, million of beautiful of restaurants, cafes and lounges to hang out in, Obhur creek has a lot of nice complexes with beautiful beaches and some are only for foreigners, if you attended an international school, which i recommend you to do so you will meet a lot of people from all around the world and will make a lot of friends, most are American.
Weather is unfortunately hot humid and sunny around the year, occasionally chilled and it rains once a year for two minutes if you're lucky.
there is two private medical schools for girls and i don't recommend any of them, higher education is not bad but you can get much better in the US. I myself left the country to study in the US.
basically it is going to be hard in the beginning to fit in, but if you knew the right people to hang out with I can assure you that will have the time of your life.

a lot of medical students actually go abroad for schooling.. Our students actually prefer to go to UK or USA for medical school.. And Canada is fast becoming a destination for medical students..
I have many friends whose children (daughters) have gone over to Bahrain or Egypt to study medicine also.
