When working with children they are only an assistant until they are qualified but even when she gains her level 2, she will still only be a nursery assistant and will not be allowed to be alone with the children.

You need a level 3 now to be a nursery nurse and to be actually allowed in a room by yourself.

I have my level 3 and work with someone with a level 2 qualification and I have to make sure i don't leave her alone with the children.
