How many other sports are there where a guy that's 5'6" and 140 lbs is called the Best in the World. There are other sports that might have some smaller players, but are they the best in the world? Probably not. Also, I don't think any sport shows you an athlete's character the way boxing does. When the going gets tough, and it looks meek, how does the boxer respond? The great ones rise to the challenge, even if they lose. A fighter is completely revealed in boxing. The perfect sport to match the saying: You can run, but you can't hide. No one can hide in the ring; a fighter's inner true self is going to be seen. This is why boxing is my favorite sport.
