1.What's your opinion of Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen?I'm almost done it, and love it. I just started reading it, because it inspired Stephenie Meyer's Twilight.
2.Which of J.A.'S books do you recommend I read next?
3.Can someone give me a short summary of at least one of her books?
thanks if you answered any of these

Pride and Prejudice is one of my favorite books of all time, if not my absolute favorite. I love it. Persuasion is my second favorite Austen book, so I would recommend that one next. It is a story about love lost and regained years later. The main character, Anne Elliot, allowed herself to be talked out of marrying Mr. Wentworth in their youth. When he comes back into her life years later after winning his fortune at sea, she wonders if she will ever again feel that the she cast aside so long ago.

If you liked Pride and Predjudice, you might like Pride and Predjudice and Zombies. I know that sounds stupid but i believe it has the same story line except it adds zombie action, though if you have a weak stomache.... anyway i havent read the original but I think the zombies makes this version awesome

Persuasion is my personal favorite. Summary: Anne Elliot passes up an opportunity for happiness when she declines a match in marriage in hopes of bettering her position. Beauty fades as seven years pass, when her former love returns a wealthier man. Anne finds herself slighted and all traces of their former intimacy gone. Mishaps and mischief mount as the pair tempt fate in this comic story of love.

You might also enjoy reading Emma next. The movie Clueless was based on it.

But really they're all great. You could really read them in any order.

There's also a new P&P sequel, where Darcy is a vampire called Vampire Darcy's Desire by Regina Jeffers. Haven't read it yet, so I can't say if it's any good.

Pride and Prejudice is one of my favourite books. I reccommend you read either Northanger Abbey or Persuasion. Northanger Abbey is about a girl who goes on vacation to a place in England(im sorry i have forgotten the name!!) she finds a guy that she likes and she later is invited to his house in the country side and she begins to suspect his dad murdered his wife. Its a very good book. Its been a while since ive read it so i cannot give a very accurate description, but if youre going to read it anyways, would you really want one?
