I'm looking for some really chilled music suggestions?

A current sample of the playlist I'm building is

Ziggy Stardust- David Bowie
Touched- V.A.S.T
Suzanne- Leonard Cohen
Animal Nitrate- Suede
Crystalised- The XX
Sometimes- And One

Basically songs that are quiet and laid back, with shades of sadness. I'm finding it difficult to think of any at the moment since I'm more naturally a rock/metal person. NO country music please.

All suggestions welcome :) Also the tunes mentioned above are well worth listening to

Well I've only heard Ziggy Stardust and Suzanne, but I think these songs are kinda what your going for:

Everything In Its Right Place - Radiohead
High and Dry - Radiohead
Feeling Good - Muse
Bubble Toes - Jack Johnson (or any Jack Johnson.. pretty chill music)
On Your Wings - Iron & Wine
Ripple - The Grateful Dead (The American Beauty album is very laid back)
Whos Gonna Save My Soul - Gnarls Barkley
Tradewinds - Pepper
Say Yes - Elliott Smith
Caring is Creepy - The Shins
On an Island - David Gilmour
Wish You Were Here - Pink Floyd
A Rush of Blood to the Head - Coldplay
Blackbird - The Beatles
This Place is a Prison - The Postal Service

I always love this kind of music.. I'll have to check out the other songs you have listed.

I've only heard Ziggy Stardust (love it). I'd listen to the others but my sister used up all our downloads on anime lol

Some quiet chilled songs from my collection are:

    Down the line: Jose Gonzalez
    Bad Blood: Bright Eyes
Non Zero Possibility: At The Drive-In
    Broadway: The Clash
End of The World: The Cure
Sitting on the Dock of the Bay: Otis Redding
    Fade Together: Franz Ferdinand
    Asilos Magdelena: The Mars Volta
    Cash: The Panics
All Times Through Paradise: The Saints
    Screenager: Muse
    Candy: Paolo Nutini.

Not sure if any of them are your thing but I'm feeling quite chilled after writing the list lol.
