I can't memorize anything!?

Question

i can't do it. I have been practising for 5 days and today is the last day and i only have one of three stanzas memorized for the raven. I always get distracted and even when i learn it i forget right after. I repeat it over and over and i write it down but i can not memorize Stanzas 13 14 and 15 from the poem by Edgar Allen Poe: The Raven.
Do i have a medical condition or something?

Probably not.

You probably didn't choose to learn it, so your motivation is not internal.

You probably won't get a movie star to go out with you if you learn it, so the reward is not high enough.

You probably weren't raised hearing Edgar Allen Poe's poetry every night before bed, so the familiarity factor is not high enough.

You probably have other things to do in your life, as well, so the concentration factor is not high enough.

Probably you are a good & motivated student, but you just need more time and reward in order to learn it!

make it into a song, it could help

Make up some mnemonic devices so that you can remember.

It's not a medical condition unless you can't remember stuff (atleast I don't think).

If you still can't memorize anything for your life, I would consult someone.
