I have sat here for 12 hours trying to memorize a poem!?

Question

I can't do it. I have been practising for 5 days and today is the last day and i only have one of three stanzas memorized for the raven. I always get distracted and even when i learn it i forget right after. I repeat it over and over and i write it down but i can not memorize Stanzas 13 14 and 15 from the poem by Edgar Allen Poe: The Raven.
Do i have a medical condition or something?

Wat you should have done is study for 20 take a break then study again it helps you memorize it.
