I am a medical coder wanting to move to hawaii but I wantd to know if as a medical coder if i make enough to move to hawaii

Pay is based on your level of expertise. Beginning coders get $12/hour.
For a large clinic, the director of billing can make up to $100,000. You would need to have 10+ years of experience. Coding and billing is hard work, lots of competition, but there is a lot of work.
I would try the community health centers, they are getting lots of increased funding from the stimulus money:

The cost of living is comparable to Los Angeles or San Francisco.

I don't know how much a medical coder makes, but I was able to live there with one roommate on a preschool teacher's paycheck. You just have to find an affordable place to live by a bus line.
