In detail can someone tell me exactly what 'the raven' entails?

I'm talking about the poem by Edgar Allen Poe
and what it's all about- the full story?
or could someone recommend a really good website that goes through each bit in detail?
thanks very much

Well, the man's wife has died, and he's sitting alone in his house grieving when a raven flies in and caws "Nevermore". At first the man welcomes it, thinking it is an angel sent to him by his lost wife. But as the poem progresses, he grows angry at the bird as it keeps saying, "Nevermore". He calls it a devil because he think it is taunting him, saying the his wife is nevermore. In the end, the man goes insane, and says that the raven is still there saying. "Nevermore". This ending can mean two different things, one: that the bird really is still there, and two: that the bird is only there symbolically and he's imagining it. I hope that I helped! The Raven is such a favorite of mine!
