Do you see any clubs picking up Matt McGuire, Rhan Hooper and Mitch Thorp?

If so, Who?

Love to hear your thoughts, Cheers.

Matt McGuire I can see getting picked up. There's a few clubs out there who could use a defender of his type.

I dont think Hooper will get picked up. Clubs will be put off by his offield history so they wont be willing to take the risk. Plus he's not that much of a player anyway, sure he's had a few good moments but the reality is he's to inconsistent.

Mitch Thorp would only be taken as a rookie or a very, very late pick in my opinion. The potentials definitely there (being a top ten pick a few years ago) but from what I've read he's got attitude problems and is a bit cocky.

I think Aaron Kite will get picked up. He was delisted by the Crows this year mainly because injuries ruined his year. He's shown in the local league that he can play so add to the fact that he's still very young I reckon Kite is a great chance of getting picked up.

Matt Maguire I think would be picked up by Freo. Hooper is a handful is his off field antics and inconsistency worth it? With Thorp i don't know.

Us swannies could give Mcgurie a go

But we don't have the space, the pre season draft is going to be all about DB (daniel bradshaw soon to become swans) and national draft will be full of kids

I recon if we do take him he'd have to nominate for national draft and hope he dosn't get picked until the dying stages where we can use our last pick

Sydney have a history of recycling players and turning them into superstars

As far as hooper no way forget him

    and Mitch Who

So I recon Mcgurie would best be headed, collingwood through pre season draft or go Fremantle or richmond

    there are my thoughts

Maguire is a chance to get redrafted; before all those injuries, he was considered a rising star at half back. Quite a few teams need a good, versatile defender, so he could go.

Hooper is awful for a club's PR, with all that he does off the field, and he's not very good either. If a club was really desperate for an average small forward maybe; but I don't know of a club that fits that description.

Thorp might be taken late in the rookie draft, but methinks that he'll need to have a spell in a state league to convince AFL sides he's good enough.

I think of all the delisted players, Robert Shirley from the Crows could get a spell with a club lacking a hard tagger. He's not the best in the comp like Gazza and Judd seem to think, but he's very good and I'm surprised we let him go.

All of them plus a few other delisted players.
I wouldn't be surprised if McGuire,Thorpe, Hooper and Kane Tenace end up at Gold Coast. Especially McGuire because it would give him an extra year in the VFL to get his body right and his experience in the back line would be invaluable to a young developing team.

hubby who is a Tigers fan wants Maguire to strengthen their backline...me I want him at the Blues to help out Thornton then Waite can play forward where we need...we have no Fev and will have to play a different type of game now.

As for Hooper and Thorp I didn't see much of them over the season so I can't really comment on them.
