It means most people are not authentic and entirely original, but imitate other people, borrow things from the people around them in order to construct their own personality. In this quote, Wilde criticizes people who lack a personality of their own.

And I agree. Even the most "original" of all people have learnt from other people and grow to be who they are because of what they are taught by others (friends, parents, family members, tv characters, books, etc). We grow up sharing the thoughts and opinions of the members of our society, of our family or of our intimate circle. We adapt to beliefs and thoughts of those around us in order to fit in, feel comfortable, build a friendship or establish trust. Some of us just tend to do it more than others, which is what Wilde criticizes: people who don't live their lives, but someone else's.

it means we all have the same emotions, similar experiences, as ages come and go--no matter what the culture, language, age, or century, we as humans more or less have simliar experiences...the only difference is how we deal with them, and how we apply our talents to our lives.

    I completly agree

Each person has qualities alike with others.
    "Most people are other people"

"Their thoughts are someone else's opinion"
There thoughts and ideas have been thought by others once before.

    Their passions, a quaotation.
What they like is nothing new.

Each person has the whole idea that they are Unique but by being unique, you are all the same.

I interpret it as saying that people lack original thoughts, and often just latch onto the bandwagon of what other people are saying and thinking.
I agree, too many people just copy what has already been said and done, instead of going in their own directions.
