Do these names sound good together?

Question

Our surname is Cummings, and we're trying to find girl names. We like the first name Pippa. But we're unsure of how we feel about it being said together: Pippa Cummings ..??

Any opinions? Suggestions?

The full name would be Philippa (pronounced Fill-ee-pah) in case anyone didn't know.

Additional Details

I grew up with the surname Cummings and in high school there were sexual remarks constantly, but it wasn't something that was unbearable. The last name sticks, I just need to see what I'd like to pick for her first name.

To Jenn H. : I really disliked the name Pippa, too when I first heard it. But it's a name that's grown on me progressively with time.

It's also an English name and Philippa is a very sophisticated and historical name. That's why I chose it.

If you go with Pippa, you could also use the shorter version of Pip. Usually, when people get older or are friends they tend to use shorter versions. I've heard of the name Pippy too. The bottom line is go with your heart!!

Although I like the name Pippa (more so for the meaning), I know she may get teased a lot in school because of her first and last name. Here's some suggestions of mine.

Ariella Cummings which means Lion of God
Brielle Cummings which means God is my strengh - my favorite
Panthea Cummings which means All Goddess
Reva Cummings which means Star, Goddess Durga

I love the name Pippa! It's so cute. I'm not overly keen on Philippa, but if you're always going to call her Pippa then it's fine. Pippa Cummings sounds fine, and so does Philippa Cummings. :]
