Was the book "the tall tale heart" about Edgar Allen Poe's uncle?

my teacher asked me who it was about and i think its his uncle can anyone answer this question?

The Tell-Tale Heart was about a un-named individual.
Interpret it in your own fashion.
It could be his uncle.
It could be an old servant.

It doesn't explicitly tell you who it is. It could be a relative, or just a elderly man. The poem doesn't seem to give the feel that he was related directly to him like a father or grandpa, but uncle may be a decent enough of a guess.

I don't think so... I assumed the narrator was a woman. It also seems too improbable. And it was called The Tell-Tale Heart by the way.
